Have fun in this hands-on class exploring and creating a variety of foods influenced from around the world. Students will gain Knowledge and experience learning sculpting, clay tool usage, glaze application, surface design and the ceramic process to create multiple 3-dimensional works.
Students will be introduced to “Paper Clay” as one of the latest innovative sculpting material. Instructor assistance includes short demonstrations of various hand-building techniques. Work will be exhibited in the last class, and parents are encouraged to attend. Students will then take their creations home with them.
